THE LATEST FROM WW, Inc.

Worldwide Warbirds, Inc. moves out of California before it falls in the ocean. (1/1/11)

Now easier to access from anywhere in the US than ever, Worldwide Warbirds, Inc. begins 2011 by relocating to Springville, Utah. The Springville airport (U77) is about 45 miles south of Salt Lake City International Airport, making it an easy commute from anywhere in the country. With the close of our maintenance facility in Chino, CA, we are now focused exclusively on training and sales out of our Utah location. We will maintain a satellite presence in Chino for some time while we complete the transition. Utah offers great flying weather and airspace to operate jet warbirds. Our hangar facility in Utah will allow us to house aircraft for sale as well as easy commuting to and from most anywhere in the US. Worldwide Warbirds, Inc. now has the second largest inventory of warbirds in the country and we look forward to expanding that in our new Utah location.

World's Best L-39 technicians visit Worldwide Warbirds, Inc.

The best in the world descended upon Worldwide Warbirds Inc. for another round of ongoing technical training. In continuing our efforts to establish a superior maintenance experience for our customers, Worldwide Warbirds, Inc. welcomed Vaclav Vleck, Pavel Kincler, and George Beranek at our facility for ten days of maintenance and technical training for our mechanics.

The Worldwide maintenance team accomplished 100 hour inspection under the supervision of the Aero experts where ongoing technical instruction was carried out along with discussion of maintenance theory, troubleshooting techniques, and factory guidelines. Vaclav Vleck, formerly the chief engine maintenance instructor at Aero Vodochody, conducted several days of engine and fuel controller adjustment training for Wil, who is well on his way to becoming the first US mechanic to receive full factory level training on the AI-25TL powerplant.

George Beranek, the only factory authorized mechanic to carry out flap track replacements, executed a beautiful change out of an excessively worn right flap track system on a customer's L-39C.

Worldwide Warbirds, Inc. is committed to excellence in all that we do. Three times in the last two years, Aero Vodochody factory technicians have been on site at our Chino facility giving hands on instruction and training to our staff. Mr. Vleck continues as our technical advisor and draws on his over 20 years of L-39 experience to provide immediate technical consulting on troubleshooting assistance year round.
